Just wanted to get some feed back from anyone who's willing to give me some.. bout my banner. I dont know, i haven't slept for almost 2 days, and i made that banner this morning so I just wanna find out what you guys think.

Is it like waay in your face? weird? ugly?

I really liked it this morning, but now not so much haha maybe i'll like it again tomorrow who knows..

Cutt that crease

Wow its been 4 months since i updated... Truthfully i haven't been inspired much but last week I had a few makeup gigs and it made me miss makeup. And I realize i've never had someone made me up. It must be nice the feeling of having someone make you up haha weird. Oh wait I did once at Sephora ages ago... it was horrible my whole eyes were full of glitters and nothing else. I guess she thought I was a kid, and liked glitters all over my face.. I was fourteen.

This look was inspired by a picture i saw in a blog but i forgot to save the pic =/ damn it, if I come across it again i'll post it up here. Sorry for the shit quality video.. I used my webcam.. Till then : )

Thursday night.

Yayyy just finished my finals. I promised myself i'd be more active in this blog once my break starts. Soo this is what i did... i was kinda doing this in the dark cuz i was recording it and white lighting looks horriblee so i used whatever light the comp gave me.. but yeah i didnt end up doing anything with the video. Too lazy to edit=/

So here it is. I just wanted to do something purple-ly. I used my webcam to take a pic.. my camera died on me RAWRRRRR

Hunny & Khairul

Last Saturday I did Hunny's makeup, she had a pre-wedding photo shoot. I got there around 7:30am did her make up and by 8:30 we had to leave to the location. First we went to Taman Tasik Perdana and then Carcosa. It ended by 2pm, it was a veryyy hottt day but it was very cooling and relaxing in Carcosa, I was feeling rather sleepy waiting =p

The look she wanted was natural... i find that natural looks are more challenging for me to do. Haha I think i've been too crazy over dramatic and smokey looks. Click on the pics for a bigger view =)

Ayol & Zeity

I had the pleasure of working with this family again :D this time it's ayol's wife, Zeity. Their theme was black and white so I decided to do a smokey silverish grey and for the hair the bride requested to just let it all down because her previous majlis... her hair were done up.

Irna & Hana

I met both Irna and Hana when I was doing my Alevels in KDU but we only got a chance to hang out for a littlee while cuz I decided to leave and study privately. Nonetheless these two are super sweet and funn to talk to. That night they had the duty of being a bride's maid, and requested a simple smokey bronze look.

Nonoy's engagement

This was my first official makeup gig back in 09. Nonoy was my childhood friend... lived a block away. If it wasn't for her and her sister peeja not that many people would know bout this blog and contact me to do their makeup. Shout out to both of them for being so awesomee and supportive.

Victorian theme

Last week on the 21st of jan I had a makeup gig at New World hotel. Jas contacted me to do her makeup and her friend's. It was a Victorian theme for their company's annual dinner... it was nice to see people getting all dressed up. I wanna play dressup too!

One of my new year's resolution is to take pics of my makeup gigs cuz before i'd always be shy or forgot to due to limited time...so here's to a good start.

Introduction

My name is Nina Faressa. I am basically obsessed over make up. I love playing and experimenting with colours. I first started doing hair and makeup when I was 14? ... and now i'm 20 and only now I've come to realize how much I love doing it and I don't want to keep it just as a hobby. I sort of learned on my own. When i first started getting into makeup, I would look up inspirational pictures online, save beauty pages from magazines.. anything of where I can find pictures of make up looks and people who like to do what I like to do, then youtube was swarmed by talented makeup gurus... and that's where I learn most of the techniques from. I'm a student so its hard to find a job that goes well with my schedule, so i mite as well do something i love and get some greens in return. I've been wanting to do something like this in a really long time but never had the courage to.

My service is affordable, as I am not a "certified" make up artist. I offer 2 types of packages:

* Package No.1 (Specifically for the BRIDE to be)

Trial Make up + Make up on the actual day + hairdos = RM 200



* Package No.2 (Special events:day/night makeup)

Make up + hairdos = RM 85


Traveling fees may vary RM30-50, depending on where you stay.
FREE for Bukit Antarabangsa, Setiawangsa and Wangsa Maju areas.
I can do basic hair (curling, straightening, french twist, half twist, poofy updos)
just mainly BASIC.

Under construction

Mk so i decided to keep this name (bumblebeedontgetme) as my makeup blog and this is my new personal blog but all the old post from bumblebee is still there cuz i just changed the URL..
